Sinopsis

Johanne es una joven que se enamora de su profesora de francés, su primer amor. Sus sentimientos, profundos e incomprensibles, la llevan a expresarse a través de una serie de escritos íntimos. Cuando su madre y su abuela los leen, reaccionan con una mezcla de sorpresa y admiración, pero pronto reconocen su potencial literario. Mientras consideran la posibilidad de publicarlos, Johanne navega entre la fantasía romántica y la realidad, mientras las tres mujeres confrontan sus distintas perspectivas sobre el amor, la sexualidad y el autodescubrimiento. 

Inglés Johanne is a young woman who falls in love with her French teacher, her first love. Her feelings, deep and incomprehensible, lead her to express herself through a series of intimate writings. When his mother and grandmother read them, they react with a mixture of surprise and admiration, but soon recognize their literary potential. As they consider publishing them, Johanne navigates between romantic fantasy and reality, as the three women confront their different perspectives on love, sexuality, and self-discovery.

Dag Johan Haugerud (1964) es un escritor, guionista y director noruego. Su cine se caracteriza por la sutileza emocional, el humor contenido y el realismo social. Alcanzó reconocimiento internacional con I Belong (2012) y Beware of Children (2019), ganadoras de múltiples premios. Su trilogía más reciente, Sex – Dreams – Love, consolidó su lugar como una de las voces más personales del cine escandinavo contemporáneo. Además de su trabajo cinematográfico, Haugerud es novelista y bibliotecario de formación. 

 

Dag Johan Haugerud (1964) is a Norwegian writer, screenwriter, and director. His films are known for their emotional subtlety, dry humor, and social realism. He gained international acclaim with I Belong (2012) and Beware of Children (2019), both award-winning titles. His recent trilogy, Sex – Dreams – Love, has cemented his reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Scandinavian cinema. In addition to his film work, Haugerud is also a published novelist and trained librarian.
