Sinopsis

¿Qué pasaría si la vida no fuera vida? ¿Y si todo fuera un sueño? Para María, una niña que vive en una colina de Portugal con su hermano, las opciones podrían ser infinitas. Ellos tienen opiniones diferentes sobre lo que es la felicidad o la filosofía, pero están unidos cuando se trata de soñar despiertos. What if life weren’t life? What if everything were a dream? For María, a young girl living on a hill in Portugal with her brother, the possibilities are endless. They have different views on happiness and philosophy, but they are united in their love for daydreaming. Innocence and nature flow through this film, inviting you to reconnect with your inner child. 

Biografía en español Giulianna Camarena Montenegro (Lima, 1995) es una documentalista peruana. Su interés se centra en crear narrativas y atmósferas que invitan a la reflexión, la empatía y la conexión con la naturaleza. Se graduó en el máster Erasmus DocNomads en Portugal, Hungría y Bélgica. That tiny place where light comes in (Portugal, 2024) es su película de graduación, que tuvo premiere en el 65th Festival Dei Popoli en Florencia y en la Beijing Film Academy en China. Previos trabajos se han presentado en Uruguay, Estados Unidos y Marruecos. Como educadora, ha brindado workshops en la India y en Perú. Su práctica se enraíza en los derechos humanos, la diversidad cultural y la justicia social. Anteriormente, fue especialista en vídeo para el PNUD, donde trabajó con comunidades indígenas y líderes sociales. 

 

Giulianna Camarena Montenegro (Lima, 1995) is a Peruvian documentary filmmaker. Her work focuses on creating narratives and atmospheres that invite reflection, empathy, and a deep connection with nature. She holds a master’s degree from the Erasmus Mundus program DocNomads, studied in Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium. That Tiny Place Where Light Comes In (Portugal, 2024) is her graduation film, which premiered at the 65th Festival dei Popoli in Florence and at the Beijing Film Academy in China. Her previous works have been showcased in Uruguay, the United States, and Morocco. As an educator, she has led workshops in India and Peru. Her practice is rooted in human rights, cultural diversity, and social justice. She previously worked as a video specialist for the UNDP, collaborating with Indigenous communities and social leaders.
