    Inspirada en hechos reales, la película sigue a Aquiles, un niño amazónico secuestrado por el grupo terrorista Sendero Luminoso. A través de su testimonio, presenciamos su transformación de víctima a combatiente y su desesperado intento de escapar. Con una mirada cruda e íntima sobre el adoctrinamiento, la violencia y la supervivencia, la película reconstruye su lucha por la identidad y la libertad. 

    Inspired by actual events, the film follows Aquiles, an Amazonian boy abducted by the terrorist group Shining Path. Through his testimony, we witness his journey from victim to fighter and his desperate attempt to escape. A raw and intimate look at indoctrination, violence, and survival, the film reconstructs his struggle for identity and freedom.

    Marlene vive en la casa de la anciana a la que cuida. Su trabajo es a tiempo completo, pero cuando se entera que una amiga suya desapareció, escapa por las noches e inicia una investigación. Las pistas la conducen a trabajos nocturnos donde Marlene conoce a otras mujeres que, como ella, han desarrollado sus dones hasta convertirlos en superpoderes. 

    Marlene lives in the house of the elderly woman she cares for. Her job is full-time, but when she finds out that a friend of hers has disappeared, she sneaks out at night and starts investigating. The clues lead her to nighttime jobs where Marlene meets other women who, like her, have developed their gifts into superpowers.

    Luis, an Asháninka born in uncontacted communities, is searching for three of his children who left for the cities years ago and haven’t been heard from since. This magical journey, through different perceptual states, serves as a means for him to pass on the most hidden aspects of his worldview to his youngest son.

    Un fatalista accidente automovilístico en la Ciudad de México desencadena una serie de eventos en la vida de tres personas: una supermodelo, un joven que quiere huir con su cuñada y un hombre en situación de calle. Sus vidas se ven arrastradas a situaciones inesperadas, provocadas por el destino aparentemente insignificante de un perro. 

    A fatalistic car crash in Mexico City sets off a chain of events in the lives of three people: a supermodel, a young man wanting to run off with his sister-in-law, and a homeless man. Their lives are catapulted into unforeseen situations instigated by the seemingly inconsequential destiny of a dog.

    After the social unrest in Peru and the massacre of January 9, 2023, in Juliaca, artists from the Peruvian Andes will take us on a journey through the Puno region and its history with their music — a land historically ravaged by repression and indigenous uprisings.

    Hace 50 años se filmó la lucha por las tierras en diversas comunidades campesinas del Cusco. Un grupo de cineastas trae estas imágenes de vuelta a la provincia de Paucartambo (Cusco), y les proponen a los pobladores de la zona representar su memoria comunitaria a través de la creación de una nueva película. 

    Fifty years ago, the struggle for the lands in rural communities of Cuzco was filmed. A group of filmmakers brought these images back to the province of Paucartambo (Cuzco) and proposed to the villagers of the area to build a community memory through the creation of a new film.

    Una mujer franco-peruana, prejuiciosa y venida a menos tras el abandono de su esposo, se ve obligada a abrir un restaurante en su casa. Junto a un chef nikkei, una cocinera indígena y un chofer afroperuano, descubrirá la diversidad cultural y culinaria del Perú en la próspera pero convulsa Lima de 1965. 

    A prejudiced Franco-Peruvian woman is forced by financial necessity to open a restaurant in her home after her husband leaves her for another woman. Alongside a Nikkei chef, an indigenous cook and an Afro-Peruvian driver, she discovers Peru’s cultural and culinary diversity during the prosperous yet turbulent Lima of 1965.

    RAMÓN Y RAMÓN

    Ramón (Emanuel Soriano) recibe las cenizas de su padre con quien tenía una relación distanciada. Durante el confinamiento de la pandemia, conoce a Mateo (Álvaro Cervantes), un joven español que queda varado en su edificio. A pesar de que son muy diferentes, surge una relación profunda entre ellos que los lleva a cuestionar sus propias identidades. Mateo decide quedarse y acompañar a Ramón en un viaje para llevar las cenizas de su padre a Huancayo, su tierra natal. Durante este viaje, Ramón se reencuentra con su familia de origen y con sus raíces y descubre que ha estado buscando respuestas a las preguntas equivocadas. Huancayo es el mejor lugar para las cenizas de su padre y para curar sus propias heridas. 

    Ramón (Emanuel Soriano) receives the ashes of his father, with whom he had an estranged relationship. During the pandemic, he meets Mateo (Álvaro Cervantes), a young Spaniard stranded in his building. Although they are very different, a deep relationship develops between them, leading them to question their own identities. Mateo decides to stay and accompanies Ramón on a journey to take his father’s ashes to Huancayo, his homeland. During this journey, Ramón is reunited with his family of origin and his roots and discovers that he has been looking for answers to the wrong questions. Huancayo is the best place for his father’s ashes and to heal his own wounds.

    Entre los paisajes de Ecuador y Perú, Huaquero reconstruye las memorias fragmentadas de ex-huaqueros de artefactos prehispánicos, fusionando documental y ficción para revelar las tensiones entre el saber ancestral, el tráfico de patrimonio y las heridas coloniales que aún persisten en estos territorios.  

    Amid the landscapes of Ecuador and Peru, Huaquero reconstructs the fragmented memories of ex-looters of pre-Hispanic artifacts, blending documentary and fiction to reveal the tensions between ancestral knowledge, heritage crime, and colonial wounds that persist in these lands.
