En una comunidad rural del Perú, Albertina, la última mujer quechua hablante de su comunidad, queda atrapada en un duelo que la aísla del mundo tras perder a su hija víctima de feminicidio. Mientras su pueblo sigue adelante, ella se hunde en la culpa y el dolor, paralizada por la violencia del pasado y el peso de la soledad. Sin embargo, cuando señales inesperadas le revelan que su hija sigue presente en todo lo que la rodea, Albertina enfrenta sus miedos, transforma su sufrimiento en fuerza y descubre que seguir adelante no es olvidar, sino aprender a vivir con lo que nunca se va.

In a rural community of Perú, Albertina, the last Quechua-speaking woman in her village, is trapped in a grief that isolates her from the world after losing her daughter to femicide. While her town moves on, she sinks into guilt and sorrow, paralyzed by the violence of the past and the weight of loneliness. Jesús, un joven fraile atrapado entre los muros de un monasterio y su pasión por el baile, decide escapar para seguir su verdadero sueño: participar en un concurso de talentos. En las coloridas calles de Tarma, Jesús descubre un ritmo nuevo, una comunidad vibrante y a Belén, una joven extrovertida que despierta en él sentimientos inesperados. Mientras se redescubre a sí mismo a través de la danza, también deberá enfrentar su pasado y un tenso reencuentro con su padre, un hombre marcado por las expectativas y los reproches.
