Existen muchos tipos de herencia; pero Mercedes y Maribel tienen claro cuál es el más valioso. Sus historias parecen repetirse como ecos de una realidad irónica; sin embargo, las circunstancias no han cambiado su visión optimista, la misma que les ha permitido ver más allá de herencias materiales.
There are many types of inheritance; but Mercedes and Maribel are clear about which one is the most valuable. Their stories seem to repeat themselves like echoes of an ironic reality; However, circumstances have not changed their optimistic vision, which has allowed them to see beyond material inheritances.
Realizador y guionista ayacuchano. Desde el 2018, viene realizando cortometrajes de corte independiente, siempre apelando a lo austero y contando historias inspiradas en su entorno. Es defensor del cine con pocos recursos, pues cree que el valor del mismo no se halla en los medios con los que se hace, sino en las historias que se cuentan a través de él. Algunos de sus cortometrajes son “Idea Santa” (2018), “Días Grises” (2020) o “Nudos” (2021), cortometrajes que han sido seleccionados y premiados en algunos festivales peruanos como “Crónicas: Tradiciones en Ayacucho”, “Festival de Cine en Cuarenta”, “Cortos desde el Confinamiento”, “Cine con Chifles” o el “Festival de Cine Incontrastable”. Actualmente, viene trabajando en el guion de su primer largometraje.
Ayacucho director and screenwriter. Since 2018, he has been making independent short films, always appealing to the austere and telling stories inspired by his environment. He is a defender of cinema with few resources, as he believes that its value is not found in the media with which it is made, but in the stories that are told through it. Some of his short films are “Idea Santa” (2018), “Días Grises” (2020) or “Nudos” (2021), short films that have been selected and awarded in some Peruvian festivals such as “Crónicas: Tradiciones en Ayacucho”, “Festival of Cinema in Cuarenta”, “Shorts from Confinement”, “Cinema with Chifles” or the “Incontrastable Film Festival”. Currently, he is working on the script for his first feature film.
