Un joven medio loco asegura poseer los planos de un tesoro escondido en la ciudad; promete a la mujer que ama, y trabaja de prostituta, que cuando encuentre el botín la sacará del mal oficio y la llevará a vivir otra vez a la selva.   

A half-mad young man claims to have the plans to a hidden treasure in the city; He promises the woman he loves, and who works as a prostitute, that when he finds the loot he will get her out of the bad job and take her to live in the jungle again.

EL GRAN VIAJE DEL CAPITÁN NEPTUNO

Debutó en la dirección al realizar cuatro cortometrajes en 1991 producidos por Francisco Lombardi e Inca Producciones. Realizó su primer largometraje conocido como “Bala perdida” con Iguana producciones, ganadora del Premio de la Crítica en el V Festival de Cine de Lima. Posteriormente grabó en 2005 el documental “El caudillo pardo” con el cual obtuvo el Premio de la Crítica en el IX Festival de Cine de Lima. Y en el 2018 realizó las secuelas de la película peruana “Django: la otra cara” las cuales fueron: “Django: En el nombre del hijo” y “Django: Sangre de mi sangre”, esta última fue la película más taquillera que consiguió hasta el momento. En el 2021 realizó una película llamada “El corazón de la luna” siendo la primera película peruana en ganar en el Festival Sci-Fi London a mejor película y mejor actriz, para Haydeé Cáceres. 

He debuted as a director with four short films in 1991, produced by Francisco Lombardi and Inca Producciones. He made his first feature film, «Bala perdida,» with Iguana Producciones, which won the Critics’ Prize at the 5th Lima Film Festival. In 2005, he recorded the documentary «El caudillo pardo,» winning the Critics’ Prize at the 9th Lima Film Festival. In 2018, he made the sequels to the Peruvian film «Django: la otra cara,» which were: «Django: En el nombre del hijo» and «Django: Sangre de mi sangre,» the latter being the highest-grossing film he has achieved so far. In 2021, he made a film called «El corazón de la luna,» becoming the first Peruvian film to win at the Sci-Fi London Festival for Best Film and Best Actress for Haydeé Cáceres.
