Sinopsis

Henry (Adam Driver) es un cómico con un enorme sentido del humor. Ann (Marion Cotillard) es una cantante conocida en el mundo entero. Juntos, bajo los focos, forman una pareja glamorosa y feliz. La llegada de Annette, su primera hija, una niña misteriosa con un destino excepcional, va a cambiar totalmente sus vidas.

Autor de seis largometrajes desde mediados de los años 80, sólo seis siendo “Les Amants du Pont-Neuf” sin duda el más destacado, pero como tantos otros prodigios que han marcado la historia del cine, Leos Carax es una leyenda viva. Un cinéfilo atormentado, amante de la música y la literatura, que coquetea con el surrealismo, del que ha adoptado un espíritu provocativo y burlón, realiza extravagantes películas que constantemente reinventan las posibilidades de la ficción y la imagen en el cine. Ha trabajado con grandes actores y actrices. Entre ellos, están Denis Lavant, su alter ego, Mireille Perrier, Juliette Binoche, Michel Piccoli, Julie Delpy, Catherine Deneuve, Katerina Golubeva, Guillaume Depardieu, Kylie Minogue, Eva Mendes, Edith Scob… Su último largometraje, “Annette”, un melodrama pop-rock protagonizado por Marion Cotillard y Adam Driver, recibió el premio a la Mejor Dirección en el Festival de Cannes, tres premios Lumière y cinco César, incluido el de Mejor Dirección, tras haber prendido las pantallas grandes en llamas con su pasión destructiva.
