Sinopsis

Hilda es una mujer solitaria que vive en el pueblo de Concepción. Intencionalmente quiebra cualquier tipo de relación afectiva con las personas de su entorno cercano. Su vida se ve interrumpida por el aviso de que su hijo viene a visitarla después de varios años. Así ella comienza los preparativos para mejorar su casa y su imagen que ha decaído en los últimos tiempos. Sobre la fecha, su hijo cancela la visita y la pospone por tiempo indeterminado. Ahora Hilda deberá vivir un verano en el pasado. 

Hilda is a lonely woman who lives in the town of Concepcion, Uruguay. She intentionally breaks any type of emotional relationship with the people in her close environment. Her life is interrupted by the notice that her son is coming to visit after several years. So she begins preparations to improve her house, since her whole life has declined in recent times. Close to the date of his visit, he cancels the trip and postpones it indefinitely. Now Hilda must relive a summer of her past. 

Egresado de la carrera de Realización Cinematográfica de la Escuela de Cine del Uruguay (ECU). Desarrolla su trabajo como artista visual, dramaturgo y director de cine y teatro. Su obra a recibido diversos reconocimientos a nivel nacional e internacional como el gran premio Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Mejor cortometraje nacional, premio Nacional de Letras, premio AGADU, entre otros. “Las vacaciones de Hilda” es su Ópera Prima.

Holds a degree on Filmmaking from the Uruguayan Film School (ECU). He develops his work as visual artist and theater dramaturgue and director. His work has received various national and international awards, such as the Grand Prize at the National Visual Arts Salon, Best National Short Film, National Literature Prize, AGADU Prize, among others. “Las vacaciones de Hilda “  is his feature film.
